Aparthotel Vucko

Aparthotel ‘Vucko’ offers 45 apartments equipped in accordance with the principles of modern technology of dwelling and service usage. Majority of the apartments face the south and have got the view of the ski-trails and the top of Jahorina. The apartments are only 50 m away from the ski-trails and sunlit during the whole day thanks to the uniqueness of their location. Jahorina, with its highest peak Ogorjelica (1916m), is situated in the central part of Bosnia and Herzegovina and it is the part of the of the Dinaric mountain chain together with Čvrsnica, Prenja, Bjelašnica, Treskavica, Zelengora and other mountains which spread in the direction of north-west and south-east creating, in this way, a border between the Adriatic Sea and the continental hinterlands. Because of such a position, the warm Mediterranean airstreams meet with the cold continental ones on Jahorina creating huge amounts of snow precipitations. In the course of a year it snows for 85 days. The height of the snow cover ranges from 1 to 3 meters. The average height of the snow cover measured in the month of February within the span of ten years is 106 cm. The layers of snow are many and their quality is very good for skiing.
