n 2008, the Andabak family bought the company Salve Regina Ltd and after redecoration and expansion, re-opened the hotel in the summer of 2009. The hotel has since opened its doors to guests under its original name Kaj and operates as part of the Croatian hotel chain Bluesun Hotels & Resorts, as the first Bluesun hotel in continental Croatia. Marija Bistrica and Bluesun Kaj Hotel are located on the northern slopes of Zagrebačka gora, approximately 40 km from Zagreb, in the southeast region of Hrvatsko zagorje.
