The Cooper Square Hotel

The Cooper Square Hotel will open its doors this summer and the 21-story fritted glass structure will make a striking impression with its bold design by New York architect Carlos Zapata. The 145 room hotel will feature custom furnishings by Milans admired interior designer Antonio Citterio the interiors will be a combination of European and New York modern elegance. The furniture design evokes a residential atmosphere made of natural elements accented with chrome hardware. Wall to wall windows offer incredible light and panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline. Bathrooms are tiled with Italian glass mosaic and custom accessories to match. Rooms are outfitted with Sony LCD televisions i-pod docking stations and complimentary wireless Internet. Hotel guests will be able to enjoy an intimate library and bar with a custom collection of books by Housing Works. Complimentary breakfast will be served daily in the library. Additional hotel amenities will include twice daily maid service and complimentary gym passes. Rooms will offer an eclectic selection of books from Housing Works ranging the arts fiction non-fiction design erotica food and more. The mini-bar will be stocked with a rotating selection of Indie films Tina Thor jewelry custom make-up kits and variety of tasty treats.
