Le Meridien Jakarta

Le Meridien has been designed in classic Indonesia style. The color of the hotel is "Blue" with the front entrance guarded by "Dupolo" statues. They, along with the magnificent Javanese Dragon which lines the starcase descending into the lobby, are said toward of evil spirits. From the moment you enter the hotel, a multitude of local influences are apparent. The lobby lounge bar is built in the style of a traditional Javanese house, exceeding the warmth that only timber and natural finishes can create. The famous temple of Taman Sari at Yogyakarta provided the inspiration for Le Meridien's swimming pool, a calm oasis of green and blue amid the bustle of Jakarta
